Lam Tsuen Country Park (林村郊野公園) is a low-populated, 15.20 km² country park in the northern New Territories of Hong Kong and Kwai Kok Shan of Kai Kung Leng is the highest peak at 585m. With steep and hilly trails and not a lot of shade, hiking in the Lam Tsuen Country Park can be strenuous and should only be attempted if you are physically fit, but the views are incredibly rewarding. Residents near Lam Tsuen Country Park mostly live in the residential town of Lam Tsuen known for its famous ‘wishing trees’. Other residents live in the nearby towns of Tam Mai, Pat Heung, Tsui Keng Pang and along Fan Kam highway.
