Tsz Wan Shan (慈雲山), also known as Temple Hill, is a sub-district located between New Kowloon and Hong Kong’s New Territories - the area is nestled at the foothill of Tsz Wan Shan/Temple Hill near Lion Rock Country Park. The area of Tsz Wan Shan is densely populated, predominantly residential, and home to a number of Buddhist temples, incredible hikes and iconic rock formations. Lion Rock, or Lion Rock Hill, is one of the more popular hiking destinations in the area and is 495 metres high. Tsz Wan Shan also features some public housing estates, as well as some leisure and cultural amenities including cycling tracks, skate parks, and bicycle rental kiosks.
