Leighton Hill (禮頓山) is a sought after area located between Causeway Bay and Happy Valley next to the Hong Kong Jockey racing club on Hong Kong Island. It used to be home to some air raid shelters during Hong Kong's involvement in World War II. A public housing estate called The Leighton Hill exists there, which was formerly the Leighton Hill Government Quarters and Harcourt Place. The Leighton Hill building offers open views looking out over the racecourse, the city and hills. The popular residential area provides easy access to shops, restaurants and amenities. Public transport to Happy Valley and Causeway Bay is very convenient and Central is only a 10-minute drive away.
