Jardines Lookout is a mountain named after William Jardine the founder of Jardine Matheson. The area is where a lot of the "old-money" of Hong Kong reside; there are a number of private houses / estates and in more recent times apartment blocks. One of the top kindergartens in Hong Kong is situated at the top of Jardine's Lookout.
