Sheung Shui (上水) is a mixed residential, commercial, industrial and retail border town in Northern New Territories. Sheung Shui is popular with mainland travellers who frequent the town to buy good to sell back in Mainland China and it's not uncommon to see some of the shopping malls being flooded with tourists. Transport is convenient, with Sheung Shui being situated on the East Rail Line and Kowloon is about 40 minutes away. Sheung Shui features a mix of public, private and Home Ownership Schemes for anyone looking to rent or buy real estate. The area features numerous social, community and recreation facilities including shopping centres (e.g. Landmark North), sports centres, parks, playgrounds, swimming pools and the nearby Hong Kong Golf Club which hosts the Hong Kong Open.
