Shek O

Shek O is a giant peninsula that connects the eastern tip of Hong Kong (ie. Chai Wan) to the South of the island. The area it occupies is very substantial for Hong Kong standards and is mostly mountains. Shek O is famous for its beaches (such as Big Wave Bay) and has many trails for those enjoy hiking in the mountains. The living environment is superb but the commute into town centre is a little farther away.
