Kwan Tei

Kwan Tei (軍地) is an area to the North West of Fanling in the New Territories of Hong Kong and the site of an old camp used by the British Army. The area is generally flat but with surrounding hills to the North and South and Sha Tau Kok Road (Lung Yeuk Tau) running through the middle of it. The closest MTR station is Sheung Shui. The area is being developed into public and private residential estates with a home ownership scheme housing to help alleviate some of the high cost of living in Hong Kong. There are three rivers in Kwan Tei (the Ng Tung River, Tan Sha River and Kwan Tei River).
